In a previous article, I mentioned that this site has already enabled two domains: J9.GS and J9.GS.CN. When I first registered J9.GS, I simply wanted to find an especially short domain to pair with my name "doyen." Later, I happened to see some unconventional country or region domains on the Western Digital Hong Kong site (363.HK), so I typed in jj, and the results showed either premium pricing or already registered. After thinking about it, I continued typing j9, and it turned out that j9.gs was unregistered. I took a look, and at the time the first-year registration was 52 yuan, but the following year was only 24 yuan, with a maximum renewal of 5 years, so I immediately thought to myself: this is the one.
After securing the domain, I immediately used it to build my own blog site. Ever since I learned about domains, I had always dreamed of owning a short domain of my own. When I saw Tencent's QQ.COM, I was especially envious that Tencent could have such a short domain. An ultra-short domain means it can be combined with a brand name so that visitors remember it at a glance.
So I tried to come up with a corresponding Chinese name for J9.GS. In Chinese pinyin, J9 can be understood as doyen. As for GS, I thought of many words with the initials GS at the time, not only in Chinese but even in English.
In the end, I thought of the word "story." In Chinese, the pinyin for story is Gushi, which exactly corresponds to the domain suffix GS.
Thus the doyen·story blog was born. Externally, I can use this identifiable J9.GS for promotion, and visitors can remember it at a glance.
Later on, I suddenly realized that among our country's provincial-level domains, there is a .GS.CN combination. This domain suffix is the provincial-level domain assigned by the state to Gansu Province, and it counts as a second-level domain under .CN, similar to domains like .COM.CN and .NET.CN. The former is a provincial-level domain, while the latter is a category domain.
I thought it over: oh my goodness, since even Apple uses APPLE.COM.CN as its Chinese site and APPLE.COM as its international site, couldn't I also use J9.GS as the international site and J9.GS.CN as the Chinese site?
So I spent 38 yuan to buy the J9.GS.CN domain and used it for this blog.
At first, my idea was to run two sites, with one domain for the international site and another domain for the Chinese site. But not long after, I killed that idea. Because if I really wanted to run two sites, it would mean that every time I published a Chinese blog post, I would have to manually maintain the international version of the blog, which is especially troublesome.
So the J9.GS.CN domain was used by me for a 301 redirect to J9.GS, which meant it was completely useless.
This year (2026), I was preparing to let it expire naturally, but deep down I still couldn't bear to part with it. In the end, when it was 15 days past expiration, I renewed it again. There was only one reason: I had encountered vibe programming. Vibe programming, also called Vibe Coding, currently relies on AI large-model technology to turn users who are not technical enough into product managers, letting them tell their inner ideas to AI and having AI code according to their ideas.
I first encountered vibe programming in 2024. At that time, there was no such term as AI Agent. I used Alibaba Cloud's Tongyi Lingma plugin and tried to modify code, but not a single project could run successfully.
It was not until mid-2026, with the emergence of various coding large models, that I saw the possibility of coding with AI. I began tirelessly modifying all kinds of projects, and even developed the idea of independently developing programs myself.
In September 2026, after communicating with my friend iEastblues, I suddenly thought of renewing the previously registered J9.GS.CN and using it as the Chinese site, while the original J9.GS would serve as the international site. As for implementation, I would have Big Fat Fish (that is, Deepseek) help me write a plugin. I asked Big Fat Fish to help me write a plugin called Bilingual Site. This plugin can accurately determine whether it is the Chinese site or the international site based on the domain, and I mainly publish content on the Chinese site, while the international site connects to Deepseek's API. Every time content is published on the Chinese site, the international site synchronously performs AI translation.
At the time, iEastblues also asked me why I didn't use Google Translate. My answer was that the content translated by Google Translate is very unprofessional, and sometimes even professional terminology is translated incorrectly or translated randomly.
In October 2026, the structure of the doyen·story blog as "one site, two languages, two domains" was officially formed.

As shown in the image, the international site currently also includes a guide for "Chinese users." If your browser language is set to Chinese, when you visit the international site www.j9.gs, it will automatically prompt you and guide you to visit the Chinese site www.j9.gs.cn. If you still want to visit the international site, you only need to remove ".cn" in the address bar and press Enter to return to the international site. If you are on the international site and want to manually visit the Chinese site, you can add ".cn" after www.j9.gs. This is one of the little thoughtful touches of this site.
In addition, observant friends may notice that, besides enabling both international and Chinese sites, this site also uses the Yellow Emperor calendar for dates. This is something I have always wanted to do.
Vibe programming can truly be called a dream-fulfilling master. It not only realizes many people's ideas, but also liberates more people from mechanical labor.
By this point, this article is over. However, this site has many little easter eggs. If you are interested, you can visit other pages of this site.
